In today’s world, the court of public opinion is regularly in session, and everyone get involved whether through news media or social media. Jesus challenges our society from Matthew 7 when he says, “judge not, that you not be judged.” Of course, Jesus is not arguing for anarchy or a disordered society, but instead he desires for all Christians to judge themselves with clarity rather than to cast judgement upon others. Spend some time this week trying to uncover the sin you may not be seeing in your own life. Invite a trusted friend to help you in this journey, and come ready to challenge the sin of self-righteousness head on an to treasure anew the grace of Jesus towards you.
